En général, de nombreux champignons peuvent être soutenus de manière durable par la protection de l'habitat. Malheureusement, les connaissances actuelles sur l'écologie des espèces sont souvent insuffisantes pour un soutien ciblé et spécifique des espèces. Pour certaines espèces, cependant, il existe déjà de bonnes indications, qui sont résumées dans les fiches d'information suivantes pour chaque espèce. Souvent, les mesures proposées peuvent également favoriser d'autres espèces de champignons qui colonisent le même habitat.
