SwissFungi is the national data and information centre for the documentation and conservation of the Swiss fungi flora. It is part of the Swiss information centre for species (InfoSpecies).
SwissFungi is responsible for the protection and promotion of fungi and advises the Confederation and the cantons in this function. With the exception of the species dealt with by the independent Data Centre SwissLichens, we provide information on the distribution, endangerment and ecology of all fungal species known from Switzerland to date in the publicly accessible distribution atlas of fungi.
